BTS Become First Group Not in SM or YG To Enter Billboard 200 Album Ranking

YG and SM aren't the only big players in the industry! Bangtan Boys, abbreviated BTS for short, entered the Billboard 200 at No. 171, with 5,000 copies of their album "The Most Beautiful Moment In Life, Pt. 2." This is the first time that a group outside of SM or YG Entertainment has entered the charts, and represents surpassing a significant milestone for the group.

The Billboard 200 measures album sales in the United States only, so BTS's position in the charts is an indication of their international success and supportive fanbase.

In addition, BTS's "Run" took the No. 1 spot on the Billboard World Digital Songs ranking as well. In Korea, the album sold over 90,000 copies as well. Congratulations to BTS on their success!
